ARINC Airport Solutions Showcased in Dubai

Rockwell Collins will be showcasing the latest ARINC Airport Solutions for airports, airlines and ground handlers at this year’s Airport Show Dubai 2014.

The Rockwell Collins’ Information Management Services (IMS) business was formed as a direct result of the acquisition of ARINC Incorporated in 2013 and enables mission-critical data and voice communications on a global scale. IMS includes voice and data communication services and pre- and in-flight planning services and communications in addition to airport communications and information systems designed to ease congestion and improve airport efficiency via airline agent and passenger-facing check-in, baggage, boarding and access control solutions.

The latest ARINC Airport Solutions package will be on display at the Rockwell Collins stand and includes cost effective shared check-in, featuring:

  • Legacy and CUPPS application support for maximum operational flexibility
  • Multiple concurrent airline application supportCloud-based common use check-in on a tablet
  • Touchscreen Way-Finding and information kiosk
  • Common use biometric enabled passenger processing including passenger authentication and identity assurance through biometric enrolment and validation
  • Airport Operational Suite to underpin airport collaborative decision-making (A-CDM) and deliver improved efficiencies
  • Communications networks
  • Advanced security and surveillance system
