It has today been announced that James ‘Jim’ Walkers has joined Rockwell Collins as Managing Director and Vice President of Asia Pacific. He will report directly to Senior Vice President of International and Service Solutions.
Walker has over 25 years of defense industry and aerospace experience, including 15 years with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) where he served as Commanding Officer Joint Communications and Deputy Director, Space Intelligence and Communications. Following his career in the Air Force, Walker spent almost 10 years with the Boeing Company in Australia where he held several leadership positions, including general manager and vice president of the Networked Enabled Systems Business for Australasia and South East Asia. Most recently, he was CEO of AutoCRC Ltd. since 2012, and before that CEO of QMI Solutions Ltd. Both technology companies are based in Australia, with business interests throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Walker has a graduate diploma in Management Studies from the University of New South Wales, a master’s in Engineering Education from Monash University RAAF and a bachelor’s of Applied Mathematics from Newcastle University.
